Personal Branding Photography

Every client and every business is different, which is one of the things I love about doing personal branding sessions. Because of this uniqueness, before a session, I like to discuss the goals and objectives of my client. For this recent personal branding session with the beautiful Sarah-Jane Meeson, the brief was to create content for all three of her businesses. The goal was to have a large portion of the content that could be interchangeable between the businesses, as well as some content specific for each business, achieved by incorporating brand-specific colours or objects. By having a just a few different outfits and props, Sarah-Jane was able to get tonnes of content for all three of her businesses in a half day personal branding session!

The headshots and ‘planning’ images are a great example of content that can go across her different businesses. This stretches her content further for the year, whilst maintaining a consistent style and overall brand. There were also images in green, her brand colour for her business ‘The Automation Girl’ and images with the Bible specific for the Christian Women in Business community.

Perhaps my favourite part of my personal branding session with Sarah-Jane (aside from all the fun and the gorgeous Sydney location) is seeing how she is now using her marketing content. As well as using the images ‘as is’, SJ puts the images in Canva and adds text to create informative posts for her followers and posts regularly on social media. Sarah-Jane is a great example of someone who is getting great bang for her marketing buck. Check out her platforms to see how she is putting her branding session content into action.

After our half day personal branding session in Sydney, Sarah-Jane walked away with a huge pile of content that meets the brief of a wide variety of images - headshots, fun lifestyle images and stock-type images - that can stand alone, but also have a great consistency with each other, resulting in strong, cohesive content across all of her brands.
