Recently I had the opportunity of doing a commercial photography shoot with the fabulous Jules Read - a custom jewellery designer in Western Sydney. Naturally, I love handmade jewellery, but after watching Jules design and create her pieces, I have a new-found appreciation for the artform. The light in her studio was amazing - a photographer's dream - and it was so fascinating to see the different tools and equipment to make each delicate piece.However, before we got to work, we got a little sidetracked with Jules studio assistants - her 4 year old Golden Retriever Leo, and her Guide-Dog Foster Puppy, Courtney. They are always with her as she works, so it's only fitting that they are part of her story.Here's Jules.... but first, puppies!
