Flynn + Jett :: Hawkesbury Family Photos
I first met and photographed the wonderful Bennett family when big brother Flynn turned one, and then again when little Jett was born. Now that little Jett has turned one, it was time for some updated family photos to add to their story. Fortunately, at this time of year, the Hawkesbury weather is absolutely stunning and we were blessed with clear skies and amazing golden light at one of my favourite photo locations.
A lot of people say how awkward they feel in front of the camera and often shy away from photos. Here's a little hint - just focus on your beautiful family and the love you have for these amazing little people that have blessed your life. You'll forget all about the camera and you'll start having fun, and it's then that authentic natural expressions start to come out. I notice it every time I photograph the Bennett family. They're never concerned with the camera. They just take advantage of having a fun afternoon with the boys, with the hope of creating a lasting legacy of their love for them.
Mel and Andrew wanted a photo gallery in their home with their new family photos. And because their space has high ceilings and large walls, we were able to feature quite a few of their favourites. After designing a few options for them to choose from, here's the final concept that they went with which now proudly hangs in their living room.
