Spring Family Photos

Spring has to be my favourite time of year - especially in the Hawkesbury. The days are warmer, the evenings are longer and you just want to head outdoors and feel that warm sun on your face. It’s a time of year synonymous with new life and there are just so many great ways to shake off the winter blues, have some family fun AND capture some memories that last a lifetime. It’s also a great opportunity to update the family photo album before the weather gets too hot, or to have some custom gifts ready in time for Christmas.

Last Spring, I had the honour of attending the Chubby Cheek Photography Workshop, where the amazing Shalonda Chaddock came all the way from Houston Texas to share her inspiration and knowledge of family lifestyle photography. These images were from just one of the many sessions at the workshop, held in stunning Bowral. We had a wonderful time with this sweet family, creating an environment for them to take time out from their busy lives and connect with each other through fun games and intentional moments.

The girls were so amazing and just loved being free to play and be loved on by mum and dad. And mum and dad even had fun too!
