Hawkesbury Engagement Photos

A love story begins.

I recently had the pleasure of doing this laid-back engagement photoshoot in the Hawkesbury. The couple wanted photos to announce their engagement to friends and family and to treasure this special season in their relationship. While I’m not a wedding photographer, this engagement photoshoot celebrates the ‘start-of-your-love story’, ‘start of your family’ in a relaxed and authentic way.

Often, engagement photos can come across highly polished and curated. This couple preferred engagement photos that were casual and heartfelt. This day could have just as easily been a picnic date they went on together, but with my along to capture their love in it’s effortless and comfortable fashion. Matching their relaxed style, their engagement photoshoot took place amongst the picturesque nature of the Hawkesbury, NSW.

Of course, no engagement shoot would be complete without photos of the ring, so we made sure to get some images that highlighted the beautiful piece of jewelry the groom to be chose for his wife-to-be.

Not only do the couple now have some beautiful images of their engagement, but the bride-to-be’s mother made it her mission to find out which was her daughter’s favourite photo /and surprised her with a canvas print of it that they could display at their engagement party, as well as to adorn the walls of their first home together.
